In fact, if I graded on a curve, I'd give it 5. Frankly, this cushion is a blessing. It saved my husband from twice having to visit the chiropractor. We borrowed it from a friend for a weekend, and did return it, but we didn't want to! My husband went today for a chiro adjustment, but if we owned the cushion, I'll bet he could have skipped the appointment. It is best used laid out flat on a bed. It vibrates gently, soothing from the lower back to the base of the skull. The heat is wonderful! It shuts off automatically after about ten minutes. If we used it in summer, I'm sure we would appreciate the cooling feature. It put us in THE ZONE; very relaxed and refreshed and pain free. I think it loosens up the vertebrae from being impacted by gravity all day. It seems well made for the price. We were impressed. As soon as our personal economy gets better, we are going to buy one. This cushion is EXTREMELY uncomfortable to sit on. It especially hurts your upper back and thighs. I'm not referring to the massage quality, its the cushion itself. It's as if they forgot the "cushion" part of Massage Cushion.
